What consumes credits
The exact rate for every kind of work, and why crawl pages have two prices
What credits are not for
Daily measurement does not consume credits. Your subscription covers it, and it keeps running at zero balance.
This is deliberate. A session you could not run is a session you run tomorrow; a day of measurement you did not take is a hole in your history that no amount of money can fill later. Nobody can ask an assistant what it said last Tuesday.

Why a crawled page has two prices
Most pages we can fetch ourselves for a fraction of a cent. Sites behind bot protection need a browser-based fetch through an external provider, and that one costs us real money on every page.
A single flat rate would be a choice between overcharging customers with open sites and subsidising customers behind aggressive protection. Two rates describe what actually happened, which is also why the ledger shows you which rate applied.
Where they come from
Each plan adds credits every month: Starter 1,000, Growth 4,000, Scale 6,000.
They roll over. A month where you barely used the agent leaves its credits on the account for the month where you do. Nothing expires while the subscription is active, and the monthly credits arrive on the same date each month whether you pay monthly or yearly.
Need more before the next top-up? A credit pack is 1,000 credits for $20 (2 cents each), bought from Settings → Billing.
Reading the ledger
Settings → Usage lists every charge with what caused it, so a month that went faster than expected can be traced to the specific crawl or agent session that did it. If work stops for lack of credits, it says where it stopped and resumes from there once topped up — a crawl does not start over.
